Tracing the Red Land of Jinling, Forging Ahead with Mission

A Record of the Party Building Activity of ADTO in Nanjing

In June, parasol trees form lush canopies across Jinling. From June 13 to 14, 2026, the Party Branch of ADTO launched a spiritual journey themed "Tracing the Red Land of Jinling, Forging Ahead with Mission". The team visited Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery, the Crossing River Victory Memorial Hall, the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum and the Meiyuan New Village Memorial Hall successively. They perceived the nation’s cultural roots in age-old heritage and tempered their faith and original aspiration amid revolutionary sites.

Yuhuatai: Consolidate the Foundation of Faith with Loyal Souls of Martyrs

Amid green pines and cypresses stands towering the Monument to Yuhuatai Martyrs. As the major burial ground for Communists during the New Democratic Revolution, nearly 100,000 martyrs sacrificed their lives for faith here, yet only over a thousand have known names, with an average age under 30. Yellowed family letters and blood-stained manuscripts in the exhibition hall silently interpret the Yuhuatai Martyr Spirit featuring lofty ideals and convictions, noble moral integrity and self-sacrifice for the people.

This realization strikes a deep chord with all ADTO staff, whose core business lies in "foundation construction". Martyrs laid the spiritual foundation for national survival with their lives, while we forge the physical foundation for urban development with exquisite craftsmanship. Only by integrating persistent faith into every project and every service can we comfort the martyrs through solid work and fulfill our original aspiration with responsibility.

Riverside of the Yangtze: Gather Impetus for Progress with the Crossing River Spirit

By the Yangtze River stands the grand sculpture of thousands of sailing boats facing the wind. Entering the Crossing River Victory Memorial Hall, visitors can review the decisive battle that shaped China’s destiny in 1949 through historical photos and precious cultural relics. From the stirring battle cry "Cross the Yangtze and Liberate the Whole Country" to the magnificent scene of military and civilians jointly securing a great victory with small boats, the Crossing River Spirit of "Carry the Revolution Through to the End" runs through all exhibits.

This battle liberated Nanjing and over a hundred other cities, laying a triumphant foundation for the birth of New China, fueled by fearless courage, perseverance to overcome hardships and united strength of the whole nation. Market competition is comparable to a battlefield without gunpowder for enterprises with years of industrial experience like ADTO. Every breakthrough and industrial upgrade relies on the drive to forge ahead bravely and seize opportunities. Only by sustaining the resolve to forge ahead can we stand firm amid industrial waves.

Paths of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum: Deepen the Weight of Mission Through Millennia-old Cultural Heritage

Early the next morning, the team visited the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum at the southern foot of Purple Mountain. A model of royal mausoleums of the Ming and Qing dynasties and a World Cultural Heritage site, this mausoleum hailed as "the Top Royal Mausoleum of Ming and Qing Dynasties" bears witness to six hundred years of vicissitudes. From solemn stone statues lining the sacred way to the grand layout of the Square City and Bright Tower, from the stele inscribed "Governance Surpassing the Tang and Song Dynasties" to the mountain-integrated mausoleum layout, every detail embodies the ritual traditions and governance wisdom of Chinese civilization. Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang put an end to chaos in the late Yuan Dynasty, restored Chinese order and relieved the people’s burdens, whose historical feats are recorded in history books and embedded in the deep context of national development.

Standing amid ancient cypresses and stone steps, all participants gained a deeper understanding: red faith is not rootless, but deeply embedded in the cultural roots of the 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization. From the patriotism of ancient virtuous rulers striving for national stability to the blood-borne dedication of patriots saving the nation from peril, the consistent pursuit of national rejuvenation and people’s wellbeing runs through all ages. As practitioners in the building materials industry, we construct today’s cities and carry forward historical cultural heritage. Every project will become a mark of the times, merging into the long course of national development. This profound historical perspective granted every member a deeper understanding of their own mission.

Deep in Meiyuan: Temper Original Aspiration and True Character with the Integrity of Predecessors

Leaving the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the team headed for the Meiyuan New Village Memorial Hall. The blue-brick buildings hidden under parasol trees once served as a hidden battlefield without gunsmoke. From 1946 to 1947, the Chinese Communist Party delegation led by Zhou Enlai conducted ten months of negotiations with the Kuomintang authorities here. Surrounded by secret agents, Communists upheld principles and bottom lines, united democratic forces extensively, and forged an upright and resolute spiritual character with calm bearing.

Simple office furnishings and yellowed confidential telegrams fully demonstrate the integrity of older generations of revolutionaries who remained true to their character even in perilous circumstances. Such integrity is equally precious for enterprise development: the more complicated the market becomes, the firmer our strategic resolve must be; the greater the interests at stake, the stricter we must uphold the bottom line of integrity; the smoother our development, the more we must never forget our original aspiration at the outset.

The two-day spiritual journey covered a sacred highland of martyrs’ spirits, a landmark of Nanjing’s liberation, a historical relic carrying six centuries of culture, and a witness to original aspiration on hidden battle lines. Every footprint on the land of Jinling constitutes a vivid textbook of spirit. As they headed back, all team members carried abundant spiritual nourishment spanning thousands of years and a heavy sense of mission.

Treading every inch of Jinling’s land, we appreciate the profound cultural heritage and cherish the precious original aspiration. ADTO will transform the spiritual strength drawn from this red education into practical work momentum. With the awareness of inheriting national cultural heritage and the sense of responsibility to carry forward revolutionary spirits, the Group will consolidate quality foundations, serve national economy and people’s livelihood, forge ahead courageously on the new-era journey, and continuously contribute ADTO’s strength to urban construction and industrial development.
